Research for a sustainable future: annual report Fraunhofer ILT 2022

The Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technology ILT in Aachen, Germany, has published its digital annual report 2022. According to the institute, the Fraunhofer ILT made significant progress in the development of laser beam sources for satellite-based climate research last year. The digitization of photonic systems and AI-supported laser materials processing are also examples of developments in the institute’s future-oriented fields that were advanced last year. The institute also reports that its internal structures have been adapted in a forward-looking manner with market-oriented business areas.

The annual report 2022 provides an overview of the numerous R&D results and dissemination activities of the Fraunhofer ILT. According to the institute, the R&D reports authorized for publishing by the project partners can also be found under the Technology Fields section of the Fraunhofer ILT website.

In addition, the annual report should contain all the information necessary for a first overall impression of the institute. According to the institute, this includes the organizational structure, operating figures, the current range of services, a list of patents and dissertations, trade fair participations and conferences, as well as current customer references.
