09 Apr New leadership at Instrument Systems
Dr Yuta Yamanoi took over the position of Managing Director from Yasumasa Kuboyama on 2 April 2024 and, together with CEO Dr Markus Ehbrecht, now forms the new management team at Instrument Systems. According to the company, Yamanoi has more than 20 years of professional experience in the field of colour and light measurement technology: After eight years in the development department at Konica Minolta Sensing in Japan, he moved to Konica Minolta Sensing Americas as Business Development Manager in 2016, according to Instrument Systems. There, he also took over the support of key account customers in the IT segment. Most recently, he was Senior Manager for Strategic Planning in the Sensing Business Unit, according to the company.
In his new role, Yamanoi is to further promote cooperation between the Konica Minolta subsidiaries of the Sensing Business Unit with their Colour & Appearance and Light & Display business units, which also include Instrument Systems, over the next few years. In the course of the regular change in the dual leadership, Ehbrecht says he is looking forward to working with Yamanoi to consolidate the company for the volatile market situation and create new added value for customers.
Yasumasa Kuboyama, who is leaving the company, had been Managing Director of Instrument Systems in Germany since April 2023 and is now taking over a new department within Konica Minolta Sensing in Japan, according to the company.
