09 Nov Jenoptik wins innovation award
Jenoptik received an innovation award for the PSS-40/LCLW inspection station on the evening of November 7, 2023, at Blechexpo, the trade fair for sheet metal processing in Stuttgart. The Jenoptik team received the award in category 4 ‘Stamping Technologies’ from five previously nominated companies.
The ‘Best Award’ is presented in a total of five categories. The award is presented to innovative products, solutions and digitalization concepts at the trade fair duo Blechexpo and Schweisstec. The prize is awarded by trade fair organizer Schall, among others.
According to the winning team, the inspection station enables the automated optical inspection of punched strips and the uninterrupted removal of defective parts in just one system. Jenoptik had further developed its PSS-40 standard inspection cell, which was already established on the market, and integrated fully automated laser cutting and laser welding into the inspection station.
