14 Jun Save the Date: Laser Colloquium Hydrogen
The Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technology ILT is organising the second LKH2 – Laser Colloquium Hydrogen on 15 and 16 September. The core topic of the virtual event is the efficient production of energy storage devices; in particular the laser cutting and welding of bipolar plates including the entire process chain and its monitoring. This is the programme in detail
continuous manufacturing of metallic bipolar plates,
industrial production of metallic bipolar plates,
fuel cell production in the German research landscape,
functionalisation and coating of surfaces,
virtual lab tour on both days.
As regenerative energy sources continue to be a topic of the future, fuel cells enjoy a great deal of attention – even outside the field of electromobility. Due to their variability and high degree of automation, laser material processing is essential for the efficient and economical production of fuel cells.
