Teledyne Dalsa is partnering with Wickon Hightech from the Czech Republic to jointly develop advanced 3D scanning solutions, the two companies have announced. Teledyne Dalsa says it will contribute its know-how in the field of high-resolution image sensors and systems, while Wickon Hightech will use its expertise in 3D inspection and measurement.
The key points of the collaboration are said to be the integration of the two companies’ technologies and the goal of surpassing the performance of today’s 3D scanning solutions. In addition, a global market presence is to be secured.
The partnership is expected to accelerate the development of next-generation 3D scanning technologies and enable faster and more accurate inspections and measurements in various industries such as semiconductors, batteries and fuel cells, as well as precision manufacturing and healthcare.
