Record numbers in the run-up to Vision 2024

According to the organizer, the Vision, international trade fair for machine vision, will be kicking off on 8 October 2024 in Stuttgart with a new record number of exhibitors. Around 500 exhibiting companies – more than ever before – will showcase their new developments and innovations to an international audience for three days. “With an increase of over 26 % compared to the previous event, we are setting another record,” says Florian Niethammer, Head of Trade Fairs and Events at Landesmesse Stuttgart. “In addition, the proportion of international exhibitors has grown to 68 %. We were also able to increase the exhibition space, which is 17 % more than at VISION 2022.” According to the trade fair organizer, a third of the exhibiting companies are taking part for the first time. This is also a record figure, which shows that the machine vision industry has great potential, emphasizes Niethammer. And finally, the more than 30 start-ups and industry newcomers registered also mark a new record and, according to Niethammer, a sign of how great the innovative strength and breadth of application of the machine vision industry still is when it can accommodate so many new companies on the market.

Presentation program for industry and research

On all three days of the trade fair, visitors can look forward to an extensive program. From synthetic data to 3D, embedded vision and hyperspectral imaging through to artificial intelligence (AI) and deep learning, the program of the Industrial Vision Days and Scientific Vision Days will cover all the important trend topics in the image processing industry, emphasizes the organizer.

Live and video on demand

“Once again this year, we are offering a live stream and video-on-demand of the presentations and would like to give all interested parties the opportunity to attend and participate in the knowledge transfer,” says Niethammer. “In this way, we are increasing the reach of Vision and offering potential machine vision users who cannot make it to Stuttgart in person this year the opportunity to find out about the latest trends and innovations.”
