07 Jul Leadership team confirmed at VDMA Laser
During the regular board elections, the members of the VDMA Laser and Laser Systems for Material Processing Association re-elected the current board members, according to the association. The Executive Board comprises Dr. Christoph Ullmann, managing director of Laserline (chairman); Dr. Stefan Ruppik, global vice president and managing director of the CO₂ & Fiber Lasers Business Unit at Coherent (vice chairman); Dr. Hagen Zimer, chief executive officer Laser Technology and member of the executive board at Trumpf; and Nikolas Meyer, chief sales officer at Acsys Lasertechnik.
The election was held in accordance with the association’s statutes, which specify a four-year term of office. According to the VDMA, board members are eligible for re-election, reflecting the importance of continuity and experience in shaping the association’s strategic direction.
Following the election, the board members re-elected Dr. Christoph Ullmann as chairman and Dr. Stefan Ruppik as vice chairman.
