12 May Alexander Huber returns to Polytec as CEO
Polytec has appointed Dr. Alexander Huber as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Together with Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Alfred Link, he will lead the optical metrology company. Huber succeeds Dr. Dietmar Gnaß, who has retired.
Alexander Huber brings more than 25 years of experience in technology-driven markets. Prior to joining Polytec, he served as CEO and Managing Director of ITK Engineering. Earlier positions included leadership roles in the Industrial Solutions and Healthcare sectors.
Huber is no stranger to Polytec. Between 2001 and 2015, he held various management positions within the company. According to Polytec, his return combines deep knowledge of the organization with extensive international management experience.
Huber says he intends to drive the company’s strategic development and create new momentum for sustainable growth.
“Returning to Polytec is something very special for me,” said Huber. “My time at the company shaped me both professionally and personally, which makes me all the more excited to take on responsibility as CEO.”
