12 May EO parternship program has expanded
ASE Optics Europe from Spain and the German company Photonics Precision Engineering (PPE) have joined the Edmund Optics (EO) Trusted Optical Partnerships (TOPs) program.
ASE, based in El Prat de Llobregat, says it offers a wide range of services covering optical and photonic design, development and integration into complex systems. The provider supports every phase of the process, from the concept to the validated end product.
ASE specializes in the development of optical solutions in the spectrum from near ultraviolet (NUV) to long-wave infrared (LWIR). According to the partners, ASE’s consulting services can be optimally combined with the production of optical assemblies by Edmund Optics.
PPE from Jena is a design and development company that specializes in highly complex optical systems and physical-optical modelling. The engineering team at PPE also works with customers from industry, research and education throughout the entire project cycle – from concept development and system requirements through to simulations and the provision of prototypes. According to Edmund Optics, PPE is known for its strengths in ray tracing, electromagnetic field propagation, tolerance analysis and technical project management. Like ASE, PPE plans to combine its design and consulting capabilities with Edmund Optics’ global manufacturing infrastructure by joining the TOPs program.
According to the company, Edmund Optics’ TOPs program is a network of complementary business partners dedicated to providing more comprehensive solutions from a single source through collaboration and the sharing of expertise.
