Fisba, manufacturer of optical components and systems headquartered in Switzerland, announces the appointment of Daniel Gray as the new President for Fisba North America. In his new role, Gray will oversee the entire North America operation, including, sales, administration, engineering, quality, and production with the primary goal to further strengthen the company’s market presence in the region.
Gray is former founder and president of Gray Optics – a company that was acquired by Fisba in 2023. He brings extensive expertise and a strong track record to his new position, explains Fisba Gray’s appointment. “Dan’s profound expertise in developing precision optical systems and spearheading early-stage product development for biomedical, diagnostic, and industrial applications makes him the ideal leader for our North American strategy,” says Markus Hersche, CEO of Fisba.
Dan Gray holds a bachelor’s, master’s, and Ph.D. in Optics from the University of Rochester, with a focus on biomedical optics and ophthalmology. Gray has over 20 years of experience developing precision optical systems for medical, biometric, consumer, and industrial markets. The departing President for North America Wallace Latimer who has accepted a new leadership position within the photonics industry.
