16 Feb. Laserline expands executive management team
Laserline has expanded its executive management team to four members. Dr. Alexander Arndt has been appointed as the fourth member of the management board effective January 1, 2026, in addition to the founding duo Dr. Christoph Ullmann and Volker Krause, and Dr. Claus Narr. According to the company, Arndt (second from right in the photo) is responsible for sales, marketing, applications and the entire IT division.
Arndt studied mechanical engineering with a focus on product development at Koblenz University of Applied Sciences before completing his master’s degree at TU Darmstadt, where he also earned his doctorate in mechanical engineering with a focus on additive manufacturing. After joining the company in 2018, he initially served as assistant to the management board with a focus on digitalization and process development. In 2020, he assumed the position of Manager of Digitalization and Process Design. From 2022, he held the positions of Head of Process Management and IT as well as Head of Sales, Marketing and Applications. In 2024, he was appointed to the board of directors of Laserline subsidiary WBC.
Laserline founders Christoph Ullmann and Volker Krause emphasized: “His extensive expertise in laser applications combined with our innovative laser technologies, his in-depth knowledge of the company’s structures and his deep understanding of our international target markets make him an ideal addition to our management team.”
