Laser Components has developed a robust laser module offering a particularly long, uniform laser line. The new Flexpoint HD-PL, which adds to the supplier‘s HD series, generates a red or green laser line of up to 20 m with uniform intensity. This makes it particularly suitable for positioning tasks in the wood and metal industries, for example for cutting, sawing, drilling, and cross-marking long wooden planks or metal rods.
According to the manufacturer, the module complies with the requirements of laser class 2, and additional eye protection is not necessary.
The robust housing complies with protection class IP67 and can be used in both dusty and humid production environments, such as sawmills. The laser module can be connected to the supply voltage via an M12 connector. A fixed or a variable focus can be selected as options.
