Apochromatically corrected wide-field microscope objective

Excelitas has introduced a new apochromatically corrected wide-field microscope objective with tenfold magnification designed for large objects and large-format sensors. According to the manufacturer, the Optem 10X M Plan Apo provides uniform optical performance suitable for precise inspection tasks. It supports sensors with diagonals greater than 30 mm.
With a high numerical aperture of 0.28, the objective achieves resolutions down to 1 µm at a working distance of 34 mm. The design is optimized for large, flat fields of view and delivers homogeneous resolution and high contrast across the entire image field. The infinity-corrected objective features a parfocal distance of 95 mm.
The wide-field objective can be integrated into various microscopy platforms, including Excelitas’ Optem Fusion system. Typical applications include semiconductor back-end processes, electronics inspection, and research environments that require high image quality or high throughput.
