12 Jan. All-in-one solution for camera focus measurement
The demands on image and camera quality are growing as complex camera and lidar systems are increasingly used for automated object detection and classification. The entire testing chain for optical systems, sensor components, and complete camera systems must meet these new requirements. The new CamTest Focus OEM camera test module from Trioptics enables fast and precise image quality evaluation of electronic cameras. The OEM module is designed to be operator-friendly and easily integrated into existing production lines. It can be used either as a standalone device or seamlessly integrated into production processes, including handling of test items by robots. In addition, the camera test system can be flexibly adapted to changing requirements.
The module offers numerous advantages, including short cycle times of only two seconds due to the high measurement speed and motorized collimators for highest measurement precision. The module is controlled via Trioptics’ ProCam Focus software, which provides accurate algorithms for image quality evaluation and real-time analysis. Another benefit highlighted by the manufacturer is its flexibility, which allows the collimators to be easily adjusted for different camera systems and fields of view (FOVs). Additionally, the device features a standard TCP/IP interface for rapid data acquisition and control. Primarily designed for production, the camera test module is also suitable for research and development applications.
