Edmund Optics announces a new supplier partnership with Ocean Optics. According to the distributor of optics and imaging components, a selection of premium spectrometers from Ocean Optics will be available worldwide through Edmund Optics‘ online webstore. This will give customers transparent pricing, access to regional stock, and technical support for Ocean Optics spectroscopy technology, the company explains.
According to the partners, the market launch includes three product families for a wide range of application requirements:
- The ST series of compact and versatile microspectrometers,
- The SR series, consisting of robust solutions for factory and process integration,
- The HR series of high-resolution systems for precision-critical environments.
According to Edmund Optics, each system is manufactured in the United States. This is to ensure the desired performance and secure access for US customers in times of challenges in the global supply chain. According to the two companies, additional spectrometer models are planned for future market launch by Edmund Optics.
