Menhir Photonics: new production for high volume manufacturing

Swiss developer of ultra-fast laser technology Menhir Photonics has officially inaugurated its new state-of-the-art production facility in Zurich. According to the company, the event marks a decisive change for the developer, which is transforming itself from a specialized research and development company into a large-scale manufacturer capable of meeting the massive demand for next-generation digital infrastructure.

According to the company, the new facility features advanced production lines designed for robotics and automation. These systems are designed to produce tens of thousands of ultra-fast laser units annually by 2028 – an ambitious scaling plan driven by the company’s latest technological breakthrough: a compact ultra-fast laser system with a frequency of 10 GHz.
